The Bartz, et al vs. Anthropic Settlement Website is now open!

If you are an author or publisher of one of the over 400,000 books involved in the Bartz vs. Anthropic litigation, your wait is over. This lawsuit was brought against Anthropic over the company’s alleged use of pirated books to train its AI model.

The Anthropic Copyright Settlement website is now live at www. AnthropicCopyrightSetttlement.com, and you can search the database to determine if your work is included in the “Works List,” covered by the class action settlement. This database is searchable by title, author, publisher, copyright registration number of ISBN or ASIN. To search the database, click HERE.

If your work is part of the settlement, you can file a claim to be part of the proposed $1.5B settlement, and receive the proposed $3000.00 per work payment by check, ACH, or Zelle. To file your claim, click HERE. Don’t worry if you haven’t received a Settlement Notice or a “unique ID” provided in the Settlement Notice, you can file without it.

The deadline for filing your claim is March 23, 2026.
